What a difference 7 days makes. Several of you have asked about the Advocare challenge/cleanse and how it was going so I thought I would update. So much has changed in 7 days since starting it. The first day or two was hard because your body goes through withdrawals if you are used to soda, sugar, lots of carbs. I had really let my guard down with the coke over the last 2 months and so my body freaked out when I didn't have any on day one! I felt it bad for sure....
But, by day 3 I was feeling awesome!!!! Tons of energy, no headaches and was down 6 pounds by day 4. Over the last year I had struggled with headaches daily...every morning and every night. I was taking a lot of medicine to get rid of them and then medicine to sleep because of the pain. It was awful. Over the last 7 days I have not taken any medicine for a headache or sleep. NONE. I have only had one headache on day 2 and I have slept like a baby....fell asleep almost immediately.
I have been amazed at how different the last 7 days have been. I feel wonderful (physically) for the first time since Cerly was born...I am not even kidding and I am so happy that I decided to do the cleanse. I think everyone has different reasons for doing a cleanse and mine was definitely to get all the junk out of my system and see if it would help my pain/stress level....and it did no doubt!
We have 3 more days of the intense cleanse and then we can add a few more things to our diet. I am excited about that because I am getting tired of chicken and salad every day...no matter how good it is!
I am sure the rest of the cleanse will be just as great.
We had lots of family time this weekend and had a blast together!! We even managed to get a family picture on the stairs, since that was the only place that Brylee wanted to do it!
Cerly either loves or hates tight hugs and kisses.....and even though she is not liking this hug I thought it was such a cute picture :)
Brylee was so tired after a long day that she fell asleep just like this....and this never happens. I would say it was a fun weekend!

Question- where did you get this cleanse? Did you have to buy a book or something? Also I desperately want to get that other book from you!! I am so sorry for being so busy! Ugh- I know you are in the same boat. Can you send me the book? I would hate to keep dealing with the guilt of not coming, ha! Praying for you!
My husband is an advocare distributor and just did the whole challenge and lost 15lbs. and feels amazing. I know you also posted about sleep problems, they have a product called sleep works, you should look into it.
