Brylee girl

Dear Brylee,

We had a day today. A crazy day that is. I am still recovering and probably will be for another 24 hours haha. I woke up this morning at 8:00 (an hour later than usual) and realized that you had not come into my room to wake me up yet so I knew something was up. You are my alarm clock every morning....I appreciate you letting me sleep in today!

I went into the living room and you were painting. There was bright blue and green paint all over our couch and all over you. You had the biggest smile on your face and you were so happy that you did all of that by yourself...while I was asleep. I was grateful for the extra hour of sleep AFTER I cleaned up the mess for an hour! So that is how we started our day.....

At lunch I took one of your pretzels just because. You just looked at me and said...."you not supposed to take things from me. That's rude and not nice. You supposed to say please!"

WOW! You were so right. Over the last 3 years you have never noticed but you sure noticed today. From now on I will ask and say please :)

Oh and one more thing. Your little sister has been a FIREBALL this week. Maybe it's because her nap schedule is off, or her teeth are coming in, I don't know. All I know is that she has not been her quite and laid back self. So tonight it was crazy and I said...

"Everyone to the bath. Everyone is going to bed because y'all are out of control!!!!"

And you said...."I am not freaking out of control. Only sissy is out of control. I am still happy!!!"

And you were right again. And I guess I said freaking somewhere in there....what a day it has been. And now you are sitting here next to me talking to your Daddy. You just told him that Cerly was out of control at Target, in the car, in the bath and at home. You are very good at telling on your sister. But at least you are accurate....sissy had a rough day!

I love you Brylee girl. You keep us going around here with your humor!

xoxo, Mommy

Proof that my laid-back baby was out of control!

And just some fun pictures of Brylee. Glad tomorrow is Friday!!!

You continue to glorify GOD with your PATIENCE ..and HE loves that about YOU! Brylee will always remember how patient you were with her...even when she decided to change the decor of your furniture!!
