Last week I saw this quote on a friends husbands facebook status:
"People that never make mistakes are those that never do anything."
I loved it. And the timing could not have been any better!
Part of living and loving involves making mistakes and I still struggle to be ok with that simple fact. It is in the times when I am "doing the most" and "loving hard" when I feel like I am just messing things up more. When that happens, I tend to become emotional and I want to just stop trying because I hate failing or hurting someones feelings when that was the last thing I wanted to do. I am so stinking hard on myself.
But you know what I have learned this week? God CAN and WILL work even when we fall short. God is so much bigger than the small thing we "could have done better" and He will use all the parts that we did well for His glory! And...He can even use our mistakes to teach all of us something.
I so needed to read that quote this week so that I could get focused again and get back on my feet. Because the truth is, living life for God is not always easy but it is the only way that I ever want to live. I wish I could be perfect, and never make mistakes, but I am so far from that. I just think we all need to be reminded that making mistakes just means that we are trying, and doing our best, and learning along the way how we can do it better the next time. And that is ok....
"People that never make mistakes are those that never do anything."

I pray God will take all of the hurt you've experienced and wipe it from your heart. Often others have never learned to forgive, and we need to continue to pray GOD will live in their hearts and they will come to know HIM, and when they truly KNOW HIM, they will experience forgiveness, as HE forgives. You have a wonderful heart and love for GOD!
