Telling Brylee: Dead set it's a boy!

Brylee has been wanting me to have another baby for a while now. She tells me all the time. She tells me if her friends mom is having a baby and I knew it would be fun to be able to tell her when this time came!

All I said was...."Guess what Brylee? Mommy is going to have a baby in her tummy!!!"

And this was the look on her face....

....and she kept thinking....still speechless....

....and still speechless....

....and then she burst out laughing! She was SO extremely happy!

We wanted her to tell all of our family. Our plan was to have her call everyone on the phone but Tuesday night my mom happened to be with us so Brylee got to tell her in person. I told my mom to video Brylee because she was going to do something. As soon as Brylee said "my mommy has a baby in her tummy" my mom looked up on me with this face! She was so happy!

We spent the rest of the night telling family. Brylee told Brandon...."I have some phone calls to make!!" It was so funny. She did awesome telling each person as we called them. It was like she was a pro and we even got some of it on video-it is priceless! Here she is calling Brandon's mom!

Oh and the best thing was this. Brylee has always wanted another sister...she tells me all the time. But as soon as I told her we were having a baby she said..."Mommy, it is gonna be a boy!"

So here is what she told each person....

"My Mommy is having another baby and it is going to be a boy!"

It was the funniest thing ever. Several tried to tell her it might be a girl and she told them again that it was a boy. We were just cracking up the whole time. I have no idea where this came from because it has been all about girls until this week!

Oh and I can't forget this. The other night we were praying and we prayed for the new little baby in Mommy's tummy. After we said Amen she said...."I am going to tell Jesus that it is a boy too!"

And that was that. Brylee definitely made this experience so much more exciting!
